Born in 2003 with the goal to spread the culture of Italian artisan gelato throughout the world, Carpigiani Gelato University is today the largest international gelato school, globally recognized as a breeding ground for successful gelato entrepreneurs, as well as a key training center for chefs and pastry chefs. 

Thanks to Carpigiani’s 75-year experience in technology and gelato equipment, Carpigiani Gelato University has at its disposal the biggest and most advanced gelato laboratory in the world, where students can have practice making recipes with the most experienced gelato instructors and the best latest generation machines. 

The team of gelato instructors is composed of the best professionals in the sector, but not only the gelato one. Each instructor’s resume is rich of national and international experiences, in every specialty of food. Every year more than 2000 people choose to attend the courses at Carpigiani Gelato University headquarters in Bologna, offered in several languages: Italian, English, French and Spanish. Thanks to an international team of certified gelato instructors, we count more than 4000 students per year in our 20 satellite campuses situated everywhere in the world: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, China, Indonesia, Japan, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, Benelux, Germany, UK and USA (two campuses, North Carolina and Illinois). 

Over the years, the school has created and developed important academic collaborations with the mains schools, institutes and training centers in the gastronomic sector, such as At-Sunrice GlobalChef Academy, ICCA, Ducasse Education, William Anglis, Alma and Le Cordon Bleu.
